New Mainstore Location & Hunts!

Holy Cannoli, gentle readers, have things been busy at CPD... although you wouldn't know it from the blog.  In the past month I've built or rebuilt/moved one mainstore and two satellites, and turned out a ton of items for some upcoming hunts!

Hunts?  Why, yes.  I'm running an in-store mini hunt until December 31st.  There are thirteen little bats hidden throughout the store, stuffed full of goodies for women AND men!  Boots, sunglasses, necklaces, piercings, prim nails... all sorts of stuff.  Here's a little teaser:

Prim nails!

Ladies, we all know one of the spots the SL avatar fails us is the fingernails.  The baked on nails on the skin or glove layer are ok... but there's no way to lengthen them or get a polished shine without prim nails.  And prim nails either don't fit well, or jack you in the wallet.

Not anymore.

:*:CPD:*: Basic Nail Set - $25L

The :*:CPD:*: Basic Nail Set comes with 12 polish options, 4 French Manicure and 8 regular.  I spent HOURS meticulously fitting each individual nail for hand sizes 10, 20, & 30, but the prims in the set have modify permissions, if you have a different hand size and want to fine-tune your fit even further.

Not only that, the nails come with a built-in animation to force your hands into the "relaxed" position, and eliminate that pesky floating nail problem - without interfering with your AO or other animations!  (It's not perfect - some animations, especially in attached objects, or a REALLY rough teleport could still knock them askew, but it works 99% of the time.)

The set also comes with fingertip covers, on the glove layer, to mask out the nails painted on to your skin.  The finger tip covers come in 5 flesh tones - dark, tan, medium, fair, and goth pale - plus a grayscale tintable version... because aliens and mermaids need pretty nails too.

The whole shebang is only $25L, and it's all copy/mod, except for the scripts and hand position fix animation.  They will make your nails appear as no-mod in inventory, but when you put them on, you can move or resize the prims to your liking.

There's a version for women, too, but I made this with mostly the guys in mind, because they get the short end of the nice freebies and dollarbies on SL.

This is my version of the classic skull ring.  All sculpted, low (8) prim, and the jeweled eyes have a texture animation script (one script per ring) that gives them a very subtle shimmer.

Rune Chokers

Do you guys have any idea how many freakin' times and ways I typo'ed "choker" for this set?

Rune Chokers is, well, a set of chokers.  With runes.  They're texture change on the leather and metal, and they're unisex.  You should buy them. :-p

There's six leather options:  Black, blue, brown, dark brown, green, and olive/khaki.  There's also five metal changes: Silver, gold, steel/pewter, copper, and bronze/brass.

The texture changes are done by chat commands.

Celtic Blue

Celtic Blue is a large, dramatic necklace, featuring sculpted chain links, sculpted blue gems, sculpted Celtic knots, and primwork.

Seastruck is a simple, casual set, with a water or beach theme.  It features mixed, varicolored semi-precious stones and shell beads.  Necklace, earrings, and bangle bracelets for both wrists.

Medieval Fantasy Hunt Teaser

Blue Note

Casual enough for to wear with cut-offs and a halter top, dressy enough for an evening gown.  "Blue Note" is a silver and brilliant lapis blue set with a musical theme.

It comes with a necklace, chain belt, earrings, two styles of bracelets, and, of course, a belly ring.

Triple Moon v2

:*:CPD:*: Triple Moon v2 Complete Set - $250L

Triple Moon is an update of a set I originally did over a year ago.  The new version has more pieces, and a shimmering effect in the amethysts.  It's not bling (ptoo ptoo), it's much more subtle than that.
